PACA plans more projects
for kabaleyans back home

Toronto, Ontario, Canada--
Most Filipino associations throughout the world are undertaking projects that will benefit their respective kababayans and their places of origin in the Philippines.

No different is the Pangasinan Association of Canada (PACA) or the Annak Ti Pangasinan, which continuously develops and works for more projects that will benefit their fellow Pangasinenses back home.

PACA, founded nine years ago by Dr. Ernie Quinit, is now headed by Willie Rapanan as the association president.

When Rafanan was the president of the Annak Ti Villasis, the association made possible the construction of a tiled gate for the Villasis public auditorium.

The initial project of the Pangasinan Association of Canada (PACA) this year was the construction of two multi-purpose school classrooms in Barangay Sumabnit in the town of Binalonan, Pangasinan. The building was named in honor of Nieves Ramos, a member and active supporter of PACA.

According to Rapanan, the association is planning to construct more classroom buildings in Pangasinan. It also plans to donate two dialysis machines to hospitals this year.

The other officers of the association are Julio Sison, executive vice president;  Noel Lalicon, vice president, first district; Jess Calicdan, Jr., vice president, second district; Sixto Tulagan, vice president, third district;  Johnny Burguillos, vice president, fourth district; Franco Lustina, vice president, fifth district; and Lily Victorino, vice president, sixth district
